Business Development Manager - Electronic Security role is to identify, develop and diversify new security business opportunities covering Electronic security systems and Integrated technology solutions and manpower security.
This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing relationships with valued existing clientele, developing new customer accounts and helping the organisation achieve higher customers’ acquisition and financial growth ambitions.
The Business Development Manager - Electronic Security position is Melbourne-based, focused but not limited to the State of Victoria.
Objectives:
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business, a measure of success based on growth in revenue and profitability.
Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within the customer segments.
Enhance existing customer segments and develop new customer segments through active engagement with all key stakeholders in the value chain across the opportunity.
Must understand the customer business drivers where CPS Security could contribute to addressing the customer pain points as value-added services.
Active participation in pricing the security services.
Engage in planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Remain abreast with developments in the overall security industry nationally.
Maintain Customer Relationship Management information in accordance with company guidelines.
Collaborate with all internal departments to facilitate customer need fulfilment.
Receive and pre-qualify RFTs, RFQs and EOIs and determine if they align with business objectives.
Prepare, compile, price and submit accurate proposals, quotations, and tenders in accordance with company standards.
Negotiate and close sales to achieve financial targets.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
Demonstrated sales experience in systems & technology services industry, and in managing key customer accounts.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and be proactive.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and must be able to present company value offerings to the customers.
Strong industry networking skills.
Commercial awareness.
Team player, ability to motivate people and analytical thinker.
Management and leadership skills, business awareness.
Excellent attention to details, verbal, and written communication skills; both internally and externally.
